SHIBUYA-KU, TOKYO, JAPAN, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Robot Start Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihiro Nakahashi) today announced the completion of a new financing round through a third-party allotment of shares.

[Background to the Financing]

While the global podcast market has grown significantly—most notably in the U.S., where podcast advertising expanded approximately 27-fold over the past decade to reach US$2.9 billion in 2025 (*1)—Japan has lagged somewhat behind. Drawing on more than 25 years of management experience in internet advertising, Robot Start Inc. has spent the past four years building the foundation for market growth in Japan.

Today, more than 400 podcasters participate in our ad network. Through partnerships with major radio stations, advertisers can also place ads on leading podcast programs in Japan. We have also built a sales network through partnerships with more than 100 advertising agencies.

In recognition of these efforts, we have completed this funding round. Going forward, we will strengthen our sales organization, collaborate with overseas companies, and promote cross-industry partnerships centered on podcasts, contributing further to industry growth as we aim to become a leading company in the podcast industry.
